Will be converting this guide into a numbered step-by-step document that you can download as a PDF and print. In the meantime, please read this as it explains the process quite well:
Once I receive your e-mail with all of your contact information I will give you a call or e-mail you to arrange for delivery of your video performance clips to me. Once I receive all the materials, which includes all of your tapes, DVD's, and headshots I will begin the process of editing and that is when the turnaround "clock" starts ticking.
The date I receive all the materials necessary to begin editing is when your turnaround time begins. Items delivered after 10am will be counted as being delivered the day after. Weekends are counted in your turnaround time.
You can go through the tapes, DVD's or whatever media you are providing me with for your reel, and put down the approximate times of the performances that you would like in your reel, and even let me know what order you would like them in. Just neatly print this on a piece of paper, noting the name of the tape, DVD, or otherwise, the hour, minute, and second the clip starts, and the hour, minute, and second the clip ends, along with a brief description of what the first line of the dialogue is or a scene description of the first shot you would like to include, and the last shot or line of dialogue you would like to include.
If you would like me to choose the best performances out of the materials you provide, I would be happy to do so. As an editor, I have an eye for good performances, so you may want to go that route.
Note: I only do two revisions of the edit for your reel.
