I feel very satisfied with the way you put this together. I know there are places here in NY but I just felt that you were the guy, and I was right. I will let the other people in the studio know about you because alot of them are looking for someone to put a reel together in a similar fashion. Ed rocks. Seriously.
I have worked with a lot of directors, and he knows his stuff; I think it helps that he knows what it's like to be in front of the camera. It also helps that he has a talented visionary and technical grasp of every element necessary from behind the camera that constitutes a fabulous composition, whether it's a photograph or a film.
He's not afraid to ask an actor to do something differently, instead of just letting things go by and blaming things on them (I've had this happen, it sucks!!!), and he creates a comfortable, collaborative environment, respecting all actors and crew involved. If you do not respect and appreciate him, it's your loss.
He's extremely generous and helpful on top of it all, and a very good
friend and ally to have in this crazy industry, which, to me, is priceless.
